MMZ to be filmed for upcoming web TV show
This friday and saturday, we're heading back to Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY to participate in their recording seminar and record a new song called "A Trick of the Tongue".
Over these two days, there will be a film crew to document our every moves and feature the band and the studio in an upcoming Web TV show. We did much of our first album there, and we're looking forward to returning to the beautiful Catskills.

Big Announcement from the band
We know we've been keeping quiet over the past few months, and during that time we've been writing, demoing, and working with different producers/record label people. We are happy and excited to announce that we will be singing a deal with Elm City Music, a new label based in New Haven, CT run by Michael Caplan (former Epic VP, Sony A&R, and head of Strawberries Records) and our good friend Vic Steffens (Head of Horizon Music Group). They have a major distribution deal with EMI, and have signed metal super-group Adrenaline Mob (members of Dream Theater, Symphony X and Disturbed) and a Tampa based group called Miggs. We are in the pre-production stage doing final demos, and are preparing to begin recording a new album with both Michael and Vic at the helm. We plan on releasing our follow up to "Mile Marker Zero" in early 2013.
On Sunday Night, Michael and Vic joined WPLR's Local Bands show to talk about the label, and announce that Mile Marker Zero will be the first local act signing with them. They're hope is to bring local CT acts to the National Stage along with other major groups that they are looking to sign.
They also premiered a brand new song entitled "Where I Want You" that was mixed by Richard Mouser (Transatlantic, Weezer, Oleander). You can hear the simulcast of the show at www.thelocalbandsshow.com.
Michael Caplan joined Fox CT Morning news on Monday morning, also announcing that Mile Marker Zero will be signing to Elm City Music.
We are very excited for everyone to finally hear all of the new music we have been working on, so join us on our facebook and twitter pages (links on the main page) for all of the updates, pictures, and videos as we prepare to take this show on the road!
See you soon!

MMZ not playing May 5th
Hey everyone, We regret to announce that we will not be able to play the Webster Theater on May 5th for Arch/Matheos. Due to an unforseen conflict, we had to cancel our performance that night. We look forward to being at the Webster Theater again soon. If you have already purchased a ticket through us, we will contact you to get a refund. Thanks to all of you who were going to come out!

Upcoming Shows and Band Update
We have three new shows up on the calender for the coming months. The first is at the Webster Underground in Hartford where we'll be playing with our friends Crossing Rubicon at their EP Release Party. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through us. On April 3rd, the Protomen return to the Heirloom Arts Theater in Danbury to present their epic saga of Mega Man. We got to play with them last year, and it was awesome to see their huge production and play for their crazy, devoted fans.
Finally on May 5th, we'll be back at the Webster Theater opening for Progressive Rock legends Jim Matheos and John Arch of Fates Warning. Tickets are $18 and can also be purchased through the band.
As you know, we've been busy writing new material for our second album. We have a plethora of new material, and can't wait for you guys to hear it! If you want to hear a sneak preview, come out to these shows where we'll be playing most of them for the first time. We hope to begin recording in the next few months.
