New Shows for the Holidays

Hey everyone, Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. We're extremely thankful for all the support we get from everyone, and we're planning a very busy 2014!

For the rest of 2013, we're doing a special Christmas Acoustic show at the Outer Space on December 27th. It's a great time to hear versions of songs we rarely play, as well as a few holiday surprises in a great, an intimate setting.

In January, we'll be hitting the Mid-Atlantic for the weekend of January 10th and 11th with shows in Atlantic City and Ardmore, PA. Check out the Tour dates page for more info.

Make sure to connect with us on social media this month, and check out some new videos going up on our YouTube channel!

First Music Video!

Our first music video is now on our YouTube channel! For the 3rd installment of our cover series, we covered Justin Timberlake's "Blue Ocean Floor", but mashed it together with Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb".

The result is one of the coolest things we've ever done! The arrangement was recorded by us, produced by John Tuohy, and the video was filmed and directed by Dave Alley. Check it out, and let us know what you think!

Don't forget to share it with your friends! Thanks!

New Gig, Music Video coming soon

We've joined the bill at the Heirloom Arts Theater on August 21st opening for Ever Forthright and Aurus. Ever Forthright features Chris Baretto (ex-periphery).

It's gonna be a great night of cool, modern Progressive Music. Check out the gig page for more info.

Also, we'll be premiering a brand new Music Video for our Cover series in the coming days! Check in at https://www.youtube.com/mmzofficial where it will launch soon!

MMZ to be filmed for upcoming web TV show

This friday and saturday, we're heading back to Applehead Studios in Woodstock, NY to participate in their recording seminar and record a new song called "A Trick of the Tongue".

Over these two days, there will be a film crew to document our every moves and feature the band and the studio in an upcoming Web TV show. We did much of our first album there, and we're looking forward to returning to the beautiful Catskills.

Follow our twitters and facebook to keep track of all the progress this weekend!

Big Announcement from the band

We know we've been keeping quiet over the past few months, and during that time we've been writing, demoing, and working with different producers/record label people. We are happy and excited to announce that we will be singing a deal with Elm City Music, a new label based in New Haven, CT run by Michael Caplan (former Epic VP, Sony A&R, and head of Strawberries Records) and our good friend Vic Steffens (Head of Horizon Music Group). They have a major distribution deal with EMI, and have signed metal super-group Adrenaline Mob (members of Dream Theater, Symphony X and Disturbed) and a Tampa based group called Miggs. We are in the pre-production stage doing final demos, and are preparing to begin recording a new album with both Michael and Vic at the helm. We plan on releasing our follow up to "Mile Marker Zero" in early 2013.

On Sunday Night, Michael and Vic joined WPLR's Local Bands show to talk about the label, and announce that Mile Marker Zero will be the first local act signing with them. They're hope is to bring local CT acts to the National Stage along with other major groups that they are looking to sign.

They also premiered a brand new song entitled "Where I Want You" that was mixed by Richard Mouser (Transatlantic, Weezer, Oleander). You can hear the simulcast of the show at www.thelocalbandsshow.com.

Michael Caplan joined Fox CT Morning news on Monday morning, also announcing that Mile Marker Zero will be signing to Elm City Music.

We are very excited for everyone to finally hear all of the new music we have been working on, so join us on our facebook and twitter pages (links on the main page) for all of the updates, pictures, and videos as we prepare to take this show on the road!

See you soon!

MMZ not playing May 5th

Hey everyone, We regret to announce that we will not be able to play the Webster Theater on May 5th for Arch/Matheos. Due to an unforseen conflict, we had to cancel our performance that night. We look forward to being at the Webster Theater again soon. If you have already purchased a ticket through us, we will contact you to get a refund. Thanks to all of you who were going to come out!
